Appliance Care
General
The idea behind Appliance Care was to drive more people to use their services as one of the number 1 electronics repair companies in the South West of England. I managed the project from the beginning to end and was the lead developer when it came to build and implementation stages.
Programming
As lead programmer I did all of the programming which consisted of a bespoke content management system built in PHP that allowed the client to manage all of the content on their website, including adding, removing and modifying products and adding items to the staff area of the website. I used the JQuery library along with standard XHTML and CSS to build the interface.
Outcome
The client was very happy with the result, gaining more customers, increasing their online awareness and reaching the top ranks of Google.
